Taught by internationally renowned Dr. Ydahlia Metzgen, this program is packed with the following: field trips to key Belizean industry stakeholders, hands-on community-driven projects, guest lectures from development experts, and cultural immersive learning activities. Developing countries in the 21st century grapple with many challenges making it difficult for its citizens to achieve economic success. The challenge is far greater for rural communities, which is the main focus of this program. This course connects concepts of economic and community development with community projects to provide you with real-world experience while solving problems within Belizean communities.
